World's First Canned Cheeseburger

So this Swiss company, Katadyn, revealed last year a brand new product: canned cheeseburgers! At first, I was truly disgusted, thinking that this was something for the supermarket. (I came across it in a Zagat newsletter). However, was developed under their Trekking-Mahlzeiten label and is meant for the outdoors. So after backpacking for 5 days eating dehydrated food, you can heat up this burger and enjoy a tasty treat in the woods! OK, so maybe not. I found this thread on Something Awful that documents the "cooking" and consumption of the canned cheeseburger.
This picture pretty much sums up the authors thoughts:

Unfortunately for us in the U.S., Katadyn can't export the burgers overseas, because they actually DO contain beef.

We can get these. Black market of course, but we can get these. I'm up to order a couple for our next trip.

I wanna try one too. It can't be that bad. Can it?

I think sitting in your house, it could be that bad. Out in the woods....probably pretty good. So you have to go trek 30 miles to make it really worth it. Are we on?

If by trek you mean drive to Yosemite or Rock Creek or something like that then yes we're on.

do they have freezedried fries and dehydrated beer to go with it?

The DO have dehydrated wine! The same brilliant scientist responsible for the burger-in-a-can also do it. Looks like it is 9.27% too! They also have something called "Mulled Wine" that has been developed for expeditions in snow and the cold.

Are they working on it for beer? How about a G&T? I'm fine with wine. It sure beats a film canister of Everclear, a 1/2 quart of mossy river water and a sprinkling of powered Gatoraid. Although that's pretty good too.

Check out the wine here. List thing on the page:
